Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Elementary School
Founded in 2013, Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park is a public charter school serving approximately 860 students in grades K–12 and providing a rigorous STEM-focused education that prepares students to become inquisitive learners, problem solvers, and ethical leaders. Operated by Concept Schools, the school promotes high academic achievement through a culture of accountability, high expectations, and strong partnerships among students, families, and staff.

Concept Model
HSA McKinley Park Elementary School is managed by Concept Schools, an award-winning charter management organization that assists over 40 schools across the Midwest. Since 1999, Concept has built a reputation for providing a wide array of services for its network of schools, including its STEM-focused curricula that has put students in a position to succeed after they graduate high school. It has been around almost as long as the charter school movement and has been a great partner in helping HSA McKinley Park Elementary School get to the point it is at today.
